Due to change in libmatch.a Due to change in AV and AH API. Path Name: /hp-ux_patches/s700_800/10.X/PHSS_15015 Symptoms: PHSS_15015: 1. TTS Query fails. 2. Due to changes in libmatch.a library. 3. Recompiled with Y2K compliant OEMF libraries. PHSS_14815: 1. Due to change in the AV and AH API. Defect Description: PHSS_15015: 1. The ProbableCause field in FMP_TTS_SCHEMA has a length of 512 bytes. ARS limits the size of fields for Oracle Database, in case of queries to 255 bytes. The TTS Query from Alarm Details window fails if the ProbableCause field value in the alarm exceeds 255 bytes. 2. libmatch.a has been modified to include and process the missing M3100 ProbableCauses. Therefore fmpavars binary is re-built with this new library. 3. Recompiled with Y2K compliant OEMF libraries. PHSS_14815: 1. AV and AH APIs have been changed to have clients show set time and update time of the alarm in the local time zone than in the server time zone. For a standalone system, run swinstall to install the patch: swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true \ -s /tmp/PHSS_15015.depot 5b. For a homogeneous NFS Diskless cluster run swcluster on the server to install the patch on the server and the clients: swcluster -i -b This will invoke swcluster in the interactive mode and force all clients to be shut down. WARNING: All cluster clients must be shut down prior to the patch installation. Installing the patch while the clients are booted is unsupported and can lead to serious problems. The swcluster command will invoke an swinstall session in which you must specify: alternate root path - default is /export/shared_root/OS_700 source depot path - /tmp/PHSS_15015.depot To complete the installation, select the patch by choosing "Actions -> Match What Target Has" and then "Actions -> Install" from the Menubar. 5c. By default swinstall will archive the original software in /var/adm/sw/patch/PHSS_15015.
