Hardware Platforms - OS Releases: s700: 10.00 10.01 s800: 10.00 10.01 Products: N/A Filesets: InternetSrvcs.INETSVCS-DTC Automatic Reboot?: No Status: General Release Critical: No Path Name: /hp-ux_patches/s700_800/10.X/PHNE_5343 Symptoms: PHNE_5343: The following symptoms correspond to the descriptions in the defect descriptions field for PHNE_5343: 1. The dpp(1M) command executes with an option whenever it misinterprets ASCII characters embedded within a file name on the command line as a recognized dpp(1M) option. Defect Description: PHNE_5343: The following defect descriptions are for PHNE_5343: 1. The problem is that dpp parses its command line by searching for instances of its options (literally, "-c", "-k", "-p", and "-l") without regard to context. Thus, if a file name on that command line contains one of those (literal) options, it is interpreted as an option and not as part of the file name.
