	Raptor 4.0 Real Audio - proxy port not configurable.

	PHNE_11390:
	Eagle 4.0 panic (Data page fault) at vpn_ioctl_tcp routine
	when the VPN feature of the firewall is used.

Defect Description:
	PHNE_12851:
	ENHANCEMENTS
	1) Licensing - license limits have been raised to be 100
	 users for Eagle(Small) and 250 for Eagle(Medium).

	2) Httpd - additional enhancements have been made to
	parsing of HTTP header lines to prevent denial of service
	attacks against some types of Web servers.

	BUGS FIXED
	3) epatch - Because the epatch program killed all running
	 daemons, it could not be installed through a secure remote
	 login (srl) session as it would kill the srl daemon. This
	 has been fixed so you can now run epatch remotely.


	4) Display - the display command would hang if the list
	of connections was too long. This has been fixed.

	5) Ftp - added support Mac binary mode. Previously, the
	Eagle would return an error message to clients using this
	mode causing some clients to hang.


	6) Generic Service Passer - added support for asymmetric
	closing of connections. TCP allows for independent shutdown
	of each direction of data transfer in a TCP connection.
	Previously, the Eagle would close down the whole connection
	if either side closed its end. This feature is turned off
	by default. To enable it, add the following line to
	config.cf:
	        passer.onewayclose=1

	7) Hawk - if a user was added to a group as a Guest through
	the Users window, the other Guest users for that group
	would be deleted (doing the operation through the Groups
	window would work correctly). This has been fixed
	(pk4.bundle)
	- some performance improvements to logfile handling
	(hawk-gui4)
	- selecting a user, changing the user id and clicking
	Create would cause a duplicate user name to be created
	(pk4.bundle)
	- the addrmap.cf file was written directly to the
	configuration directory instead of being written first
	to the edit directory and then moved to the configuration
	directory during a reconfigure (pk4.bundle)


	8) Http - fixed to not strip out authentication information
	when an external proxy is in use and the Eagle itself is
	not doing proxy authentication. Previously, the Eagle
	would strip out authentication information in all cases
	for security reasons. This would prevent external proxies
	from being able to authenticate the clients. Now the
	Eagle will not strip out authentication information
	unless it has been configured itself to do proxy
	authentication.
	- modified to correctly parse a blank (unspecified)
	port number field within a URL. Previously, the URL
	parsing would fail and an error would be returned to
	the user. Now the default port for the protocol will
	be used instead.


	9) notifications - the incorrect address was used in SNMP
	notification traps


	10) Realaudio - fixed to support all default port numbers
	used in various versions of the RealAudio protocol.


	11) Transparency - The maximum number of transparency
	entries has been raised. Up to 128 addresses (hosts or
	subnets) can now be listed as being transparently
	accessible.


	12) VPN - fixed a potential system crash (none have
	actually been reported). Decryption of a VPN packet,
	that had been corrupted or decrypted with the wrong key
	(if the remote end was not configured with the same key)
	and which did not have packet authentication enabled,
	could result in a packet where the IP length field in the
	header was greater than the actual number of bytes in
	the packet. Added checks to prevent this.

	PHNE_11390:
	A race condition has been found that could result in a
	system crash. This crash was caused by an attempted access
	to a TCP/IP connection block that had already been
	deallocated through an abnormal TCP reset.

Installation Instructions:
	Please review all instructions and the Hewlett-Packard
	SupportLine User Guide or your Hewlett-Packard support terms

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHNE_12851

	5a. For a standalone system, run swinstall to install the
	    patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true \
			-s /tmp/PHNE_12851.depot

	5b. For a homogeneous NFS Diskless cluster run swcluster on the
	    server to install the patch on the server and the clients:

		swcluster -i -b

	    This will invoke swcluster in the interactive mode and
	    force all clients to be shut down.

	    WARNING: All cluster clients must be shut down prior to the
		     patch installation.  Installing the patch while the
		     clients are booted is unsupported and can lead to
		     serious problems.

	    The swcluster command will invoke an swinstall session in which
	    you must specify:

		alternate root path  -  default is /export/shared_root/OS_700
		source depot path    -  /tmp/PHNE_12851.depot

	    To complete the installation, select the patch by choosing
	    "Actions -> Match What Target Has" and then "Actions -> Install"
	    from the Menubar.

	5c. For a heterogeneous NFS Diskless cluster:

		- run swinstall on the server as in step 5a to install
		  the patch on the cluster server.

		- run swcluster on the server as in step 5b to install
		  the patch on the cluster clients.

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in
	/var/adm/sw/patch/PHNE_12851.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, you can create an empty file
	named /var/adm/sw/patch/PATCH_NOSAVE.

	Warning: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the
	         patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.

	It is recommended that you move the PHNE_12851.text file to
	/var/adm/sw/patch for future reference.

	To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
	tape drive, use the command:

		dd if=/tmp/PHNE_12851.depot of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2k

Special Installation Instructions:
	Follow the instructions below to complete the installation
