Patch Name: PHCO_8009 Patch Description: s700_800 10.20 make audusr(1M) more efficient Creation Date: 96/07/23 Post Date: 96/07/25 Hardware Platforms - OS Releases: s700: 10.20 s800: 10.20 Products: N/A Filesets: SecurityMon.SECURITY Automatic Reboot?: No Status: General Release Critical: No Path Name: /hp-ux_patches/s700_800/10.X/PHCO_8009 Symptoms: PHCO_8009: This patch makes audusr(1M) more efficient. The time needed to change the audit setting for a user should now be independent of the # of users on the system. audusr(1M) can now handle up to 500 arguments. It also updates the message catalog which is out-of-date in Davis LR. Defect Description: PHCO_8009: If audusr(1M) seems to be too slow on your machine, apply this patch. Also, if you have not applied this patch, the error message generated with the audusr command may sometimes be incomplete, though never misleading.
