Patch Name: PHCO_22195 Patch Description: s700_800 10.20 HP Array Manager/60 installation patch Creation Date: 00/10/11 Post Date: 00/10/13 Warning: 00/10/31 - This Non-Critical Warning has been issued by HP. - PHCO_22195 introduced a problem with the HP Array Manager/60 software that can result in excessive, repetitive errors being logged to the files in /var/opt/hparray/log. Once an actual error occurs it may continue to be logged even after the problem is resolved, which may lead to unnecessary troubleshooting or maintenance. The repetition of the errors to the /var/opt/hparray/log files could also consume all available space on the /var file system. - HP recommends that PHCO_22195 be removed from all systems on which it is installed. PHCO_22195 should also be removed from all software depots. - The previous patch, PHCO_21314, does not exhibit this same behavior. PHCO_21314 is being re-released until a replacement patch is available. To avoid the potential problem with the HP Array Manager/60 software introduced by PHCO_22195, and to insure that as many other known issues as possible are addressed, HP recommends that PHCO_21314 be installed after PHCO_22195 is removed. If PHCO_21314 was installed prior to PHCO_22195, it will automatically be restored when PHCO_22195 is removed and will not need to be re-installed.
