Customers need >500 slots supported. 2. Need mc(1m) to be able to read the barcode data from the library of tapes in the autoloader assembly. 3. After the front door is opened on the STK 9710, the mc(1m) command fails with a "Unit Attention" error. The command must be issued a second time, and then it works. 4. The current mc(1m) man page does not accurately describe the supported devices. 5. No defect for the new options. The -n option prints the serial number of the drive in the specified slot. The -b option allows one to reserve or release a shared device in a library. PHCO_10848: No defect. This is to add new functionality. A new /usr/sbin/mc command is introduced to manipulate media autoloaders.
