Patch Name: PHCO_10581 Patch Description: s700_800 10.24 (VVOS) mkfs/newfs install fix Creation Date: 97/03/27 Post Date: 97/07/04 Hardware Platforms - OS Releases: s700: 10.24 s800: 10.24 Products: N/A Filesets: OS-Core.UX-CORE Automatic Reboot?: No Status: General Release Critical: No Path Name: /hp-ux_patches/s700_800/10.X/PHCO_10581 Symptoms: PHCO_10581: newfs and mkfs force syslo sensitivity label at install time Defect Description: PHCO_10581: The newfs and mkfs commands force syslo label at installation time. The assumption is that since the policy daemons are not running, a syslo label is the only option. This patch has been issued only to support the Bootable Backup Tape feature which at installation time has the daemons running and might need to rebuild filesystems with non-syslo labels.
