	PHCO_24152:
	     ( SR: 8606204319 CR: JAGad73500 )
	     There are currently no provision for an
	     Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) monitoring
	     daemon.  Also, there are no provision for an
	     automated method of shutting the system down,
	     and restarted the system at scheduled times.
	     This functionality is currently supported
	     and delivered on Series 800 machines.

Defect Description:
	PHCO_24152:
	     ( SR: 8606204319 CR: JAGad73500 )
	     This is an enhancement for s700 that will install
	     an Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) monitoring
	     daemon named ups_mond.  It will also install
	     a tool named power_onoff that provides a method
	     to automatically shutdown and restart the system
	     at scheduled times.  No coding changes were
	     necessary for either of these products.  Once
	     this patch is installed, ups_mond and the
	     configuration file ups_conf can be managed
	     through the system administration manager (SAM).

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHCO_24152

	5a. For a standalone system, run swinstall to install the
	    patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true \
			-s /tmp/PHCO_24152.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in
	/var/adm/sw/patch/PHCO_24152.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, you can create an empty file
	named /var/adm/sw/patch/PATCH_NOSAVE.

	WARNING: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the
	         patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.

	It is recommended that you move the PHCO_24152.text file to
	/var/adm/sw/patch for future reference.

	To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
	tape drive, use the command:

		dd if=/tmp/PHCO_24152.depot of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2k
