Dear SCO Customer, Support Level Supplement (SLS) ptf7418c, the UnixWare 7.1.0 mpio, sysdump, and sd01 Driver Update, addresses all of the following problems. These issues were addressed in SLS ptf7418a: 1. The system hangs during failover testing. 2. sd01Reserve in sd01.c reserves the wrong disk. 3. The system hangs during MPIO dual path failover test. 4. The system hangs while attempting a system dump on UnixWare 7.1.0. 5. Building KMA_PARANOID results in data corruption in SDI and sd0. (SLS ptf7419c or later is also needed for a complete solution to this problem). 6. A memory leak occurs related to vtoc open. 7. Emergency recovery disks cannot be created after ptf7036c is applied. This issue was addressed in SLS ptf7418b: 8. sd01strat1() does not recognize retry code. Therefore, if an HBA fails to assign memory, sdi_xtranslate() returns SDI_RET_RETRY and can cause a system hang. This issue was additionally addressed in SLS ptf7418c: 9. sd01getalts() was amended to prevent kernel memory abuse.
