Filesystem reliability

Filesystem reliability

In a power failure, a filesystem cleanup routine automatically runs quickly and silently during startup, to restore the filesystem.

Special handling of the pipe device has also been implemented. This removes the need for filesystem cleanup because of open pipe device files, and thus speeds the recovery from power failure.

NOTE: A remote filesystem distributed across several servers can be mounted on any client, using the toolkit implementation of NFS.
