Standards

The SCO Embedded Configuration Toolkit provides a set of API's common to those provided on the standard SCO UNIX System. Embedded server configurations support all standards that are supported by the SCO OpenServer system including scheduling services conforming to IEEE POSIX 1003.1b-1993. Client, client controller, stand-alone and simple networked system configurations are minimal: by default they consist of a few utilities so that the functionality required for compliance with test suites is not available. However, no changes have been made to these utilities which may break standards.
