Hardware requirements

All of the supported toolkit configurations run on standard PC systems based on Intel 386/486/Pentium CPUs and Industry Standard Architecture (ISA), Extended Industry Standard Architecture (EISA), Microchannel™ Architecture (MCA) or Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI).

Client systems must be configured with one of the network adapters listed in ``Supported networking adapters''.

Diskless clients must also be equipped with Dirk Köppen EDV-Beratungs-GmbH or LANWorks boot PROMs for network booting: disk based clients may optionally have a boot PROM.
