A common characteristic of many clients in embedded systems is that they share similar hardware and software configurations. Often the only difference between clients is their network address and system name. When you configure clients using the Embedded Configuration Toolkit, you configure one or more client templates that contain configuration information shared by clients with identical hardware and software requirements.
