Embedded application environments
The following descriptions detail some of the possible environments in which the SCO Embedded Configuration Toolkit can help to provide a lean yet fully functional operating system base for embedded applications. These environments fall into three categories:
stand-alone
simple network
client server
NOTE:
These categories are only defined in this whitepaper to aid
in the description of the various facilities made available
by the Embedded Configuration Toolkit. In practice, some embedded
systems can fall into more than just one category.
