I.  List of Open Source Packages for OpenServer 6.0.0 MP4

Listed below are the source, patches, build scripts, and instructions
for various OpenServer 6.0.0 MP4 and slightly later open source
distributions.

The source code for the following components are new and/or updated

III.  Software Notes and Build Instructions

1.  The open source components and versions listed above are included
    in OpenServer 6.0.0 MP4 except:

     + Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.18 and Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0.0.18 are
       included in MP4.  Firefox 2.0.0.20 and Thunderbird 2.0.0.19
       have a few additional bug fixes and their sources are posted
       here.

     + The Russian Language Supplement (RLS) and GNU Utilities
       (gnuutils) were not included on the OpenServer 6.0.0 MP4 CDs.
       Instead, they are web posted on the OpenServer 6.0.0 download
       page:
         http://www.sco.com/support/update/download/product.php?pfid=12&prid=20

2.  Some archives have sibling *patch files that should be applied to
    the source archives before building the source code.

3.  The qt-3.3.8b-osr6-src.tar.bz2 and kdei18n-3.5.9-osr6-src.tar.bz2
    archives are meant to be compiled within the unwound
    kde-3.5.9-osr6-src.tar.bz2 archive.

    So, to compile either qt or kdei18n from sources it is necessary
    to first unpack the kde source archive.   Then extract the qt or
    kdei18n archive inside the extracted kde source hierarchy.

4.  The sources for the following packages are cross dependent:
        Apache 1
        Apache 2
        Perl
        GWXLIBS
        X.Org
        ViM
        Extended Shells

    The commonpi package provides the common packaging files used to
    build installable images for these packages.  We recommend
    unpacking all these packages (about 1.5 GB of space is required)
    before attempting to build any of them.

    Note:  In MP3 the SVR5 and OSR5 ABI Perl binaries were provided
           in separate source and binary packages.  For MP4 common
           source is used to build a single perl component providing
           both SVR5 and OSR5 ABI binaries.
