The SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.7 Supplement CD Version 3 ISO image,
named osr507supp3CDimage.iso, provides the following new or updated 
products:

  o SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.7 Maintenance Pack 3

  o SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.7 Update Pack 3

  o Samba File and Print Server 2.2.8

  o Squid Web Proxy Cache 2.5.STABLE5

  o JavaTM 2 Platform, Standard Edition, packages, including:
      - the Java 2 Runtime Environment (1.3.1_10 and 1.4.2_03)
      - the Java 2 Software Development Kit (1.3.1_10 and 1.4.2_03)
      - the Java RS-232 Serial and Parallel port API (javax.comm 2.0)
      - the Java 2 Plug-In for Netscape 4.x and Mozilla browsers (1.3.1)
      - JavaSOAP and Gsoap packages

  o Graphics and NIC Drivers

  o Mass storage device drivers, including:
      - SCO OpenServer Boot-Time Loadable Drivers Supplement, providing:
           + new Adaptec Ultra320 SCSI card support (ad320 driver)
           + updated EIDE/ATAPI support (wd driver)

Downloading and Installing from the CD ISO image
------------------------------------------------

You can download the SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.7 Supplement CD 
Version 3 ISO image (osr507supp3CDimage.iso) from the SCO web or 
ftp site at:

ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/openserver5/507/iso/suppcd3

If your ftp download session of the Supplement CD Version 3 ISO image 
terminates with an error before downloading the entire ISO image,
you can use the ftp(TC) 'reget' command to restart the download 
from where it left off.   When the download is complete, 
verify the sum of the ISO image.

Once you have downloaded the ISO image, write the image to a CD 
using any Windows or UNIX CD recording software, such as the cdrtools 
recording utilities that are available from the SCO Skunkware collection.  

After the CD is recorded, you can use the CD to install 
any of the products provided in the Supplement.  For specific
product installation information, see the /info/readme.txt
file on the CD.
