SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.7 Supplement CD Version 4 ISO image

The SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.7 Supplement CD Version 4 ISO image,
named osr507suppcd4.iso, provides the following new or updated 
products:

  o SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.7 Maintenance Pack 4

  o PostgreSQL Database Management System 7.4.2

  o Samba File and Print Server 3.0.20a

  o Squid Web Proxy Cache 2.5.STABLE11 with security patches
    from version 2.5.STABLE12-RC1

  o Java(TM) 2 Platform, Standard Edition, packages, including:
      - the Java 2 Runtime Environment 1.4.2_08
      - the Java 2 Software Development Kit 1.4.2_08
      - the Java RS-232 Serial and Parallel port API (javax.comm 2.0)
      - the Java 2 Plug-In for Netscape 4.x and Mozilla browsers (1.4.2)
      - JavaSOAP and gSOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) for Web Services

  o NIC Drivers
      - Intel PRO/100B / PRO/100+ PCI adapter support (eeE driver)

Downloading and Installing from the CD ISO image
------------------------------------------------

You can download the SCO OpenServer Release 5.0.7 Supplement CD 
Version 4 ISO image (osr507suppcd4.iso) from the SCO OpenServer
Release 5.0.7 Supplements web or ftp sites at:

If your ftp download session of the Supplement CD Version 4 ISO image 
terminates with an error before downloading the entire ISO image,
you can use the ftp(TC) "reget" command to restart the download 
from where it left off.   When the download is complete, 
verify the sum of the ISO image.

Once you have downloaded the ISO image, write the image to a CD 
using any Windows or UNIX CD recording software, such as the cdrtools 
recording tools that are available from the SCO OpenServer
Release 5.0.7 Maintenance Pack 3 or later.

After the CD is recorded, you can use the CD to install 
any of the products provided in the Supplement.  For specific
product installation information, see the /info/readme.txt
file on the CD.
