Overview
--------

This CD provides the same BTLDs as is provided on the SCO OpenServer
Release 5.0.7 Supplement 5 CD.  These mass storage device drivers are
provided in two images:

      - the first image includes:
           + Adaptec SCSI RAID and Serial ATA RAID support 
             (aacraid driver)
           + updated Adaptec Ultra320 SCSI card support (ad320 driver)
           + updated Intel Integrated RAID controller support 
             (iir driver)
           + updated LSI Logic Ultra320/Fibre Channel support 
             (lsil driver)
           + updated Symbios Logic/LSI Logic HBA support (slha driver)
           + updated EIDE/ATAPI support (wd driver)

      - the second image includes:
           + LSI Host RAID adapter support (amird driver)
           + Dell SCSI RAID adapter support (percraid driver)
           + BusLogic SCSI adapter support (blc driver)


Installing the products and supplements on this CD
------------------------------------------------------

For help on installing and using the products provided
on this CD, see:

      IMPORTANT:  When performing an ISL using the new wd driver BTLD,
                  the system may panic when rebooting after loading the
                  SMP product without OpenServer 5.0.7 Maintenance Pack
		  (MP5) installed:

                         WARNING: hd: no root disk controller was found

                  o  If you are going to use the new wd driver BTLD at ISL and
                     you plan on installing SMP, you should install MP5 right
                     after installing SMP without rebooting first.

                  o  If you have installed SMP after MP5, simply re-install MP5
                     before rebooting. 

                  MP5 is included in the OpenServer 5.0.7 Supplement 5 CD
                  and is also separately provided at:
