Dear SCO Customer, The enclosed Support Level Supplement (SLS) PTF3238B, the SCO UnixWare SNMP Supplement, contains a replacement in.snmpd and libsnmpio.so for SCO UnixWare Release 2.1.0, 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 operating systems. This corrects SNMP application failures which result in a core dump error message and which leave behind a file called "core". The failure may be consistent or intermittent. The corrected libsnmpio.so improves the management of dynamically allocated memory. This SLS also corrects failure of an SNMP application start-up which may log the error message "YouLoseBig" to the application's log file, osmlog. Software Notes and Recommendations ---------------------------------- SLS PTF3238B should only be installed on: SCO UnixWare Application Server Release 2.1.0, 2.1.1, 2.1.2 SCO UnixWare Personal Edition Release 2.1.0, 2.1.1, 2.1.2 Installation Instructions ------------------------- 1.
