Abstract
--------

It has been reported that changes made post-UW2.03 show a marked improvement
when dealing with two-card/controller router conditions.  Hence, this
patch provides the SCO UnixWare 2.1 version of the `en596` dirver.

Symptom
--------

When running the Unisys "net_test" load and stress script in a environment
that includes a gateway with two ne2000 or cogen596 Ethernet adapters, the
initiating station would hang after a few hours.


SOLUTION SPECIFICS
------------------

Apply the tf2062 file.
 
 
Installation Instructions:
 
DATATYPE: datastream
 
1.  Download the tf2062.Z and the ptf2062.txt files to the /tmp directory
     on your machine.
 
2.  Read the release notes contained in this file.           
 
3.  Now become root, uncompress the file and add the package to your 
    system using the following commands:
 
      $ su
      # uncompress /tmp/tf2062.Z
      # pkgadd -d /tmp/tf2062 

General Description.
-------------------

The UnixWare 2.1 version of the 'en596' driver will be provided for
installation on a UW2.03 machine.

Due to infrastructure problems, it was not possible to reproduce
the proper environment in which to verify the correctness of this
patch.
