ABSTRACT:

This file contains PTF683 - "Attribute/Code Modifications for Certain
System-Related Files." This PTF is intended to fix several problems 
relating to incorrect design implementation in the command: 
/usr/lib/sa/sadc and to modify the attributes of the command: 
/usr/sbin/urestore


SYMPTOM

Patch needed to provide fix to certain security related issues.

SOLUTION

Apply the ptf683 file.


Installation Instructions:

DATATYPE: datastream

1.  Download the ptf683.Z and ptf683.txt files to the /tmp directory
    on your machine.

2.  Read the release notes contained in this file and follow the
    instuctions to add the packages to your system.

3.  Now become root, uncompress the file and add the package to your 
    system using the following commands:

        $ su
        # uncompress /tmp/ptf683.Z
        # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf683 ptf683
