Installation Instructions:  

DATATYPE: datastream

1.  Download the ptf649.Z and ptf649.txt files to the /tmp directory 
    on your machine.

2.  Read the release notes contained in file and follow the instuctions 
    to add the package to your system.

3.  Now become root, uncompress the file and add the package to your 
    system using the following commands:

        $ su
        # uncompress /tmp/ptf649.Z
        # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf649

Abstract
--------

The ptf649.tar file contains PTF649 - "Fix for System Hang in 'ldterm' 
when 'VMIN = 0' and 'VTIME > 0'".  This update consists of one 3.5 inch 
floppy. PTF649 provides fix to "ldterm" when the VMIN value equals 0 and 
the VTIME value is greater than 0. This update is for Unixware version 1.1 
and later.

These release notes acquaint you with information concerning UnixWare 
PTF649 - "Fix for System Hang in 'ldterm' when 'VMIN = 0' and 'VTIME > 0'".  
This update consists of one 3.5 inch floppy.

PTF649 provides fix to "ldterm" when the VMIN value equals 0 and the VTIME
value is greater than 0.

Installation Instructions.

The PTF consists of one 3.5 inch floppy.  It is installed in "pkgadd" format. 
The following command line should be used:

     pkgadd -d diskette1
