ABSTRACT:

The ptf633 file contains PTF633 - "IHV Kit Documentation".  This update,
consisting of a 4 3.5 inch floppy diskettes, contains several documents 
in postscript form that are useful with the IHV kit. This ptf requires 
a UnixWare 1.1 systrem with about 12 MB free space available for 
documentation.

Additional IHV Kit documentation needed.

SOLUTION

Apply the ptf633 file.

Installation Instructions:

DATATYPE: datastream

1.  Download the ptf633 and ptf633.txt files to the /tmp directory
    on your machine.

2.  Read the release notes contained in the this file.

3.  Now become root, and add the package to your system using the following
    commands:

     $su
     #pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf633 ptf633

General Description.
-------------------
These release notes acquaint you with the information for Unixware 
PTF633 - "IHV Kit Documentation".  This update, consisting of a 4 
3.5 inch floppy diskettes, contains several documents in postscript 
form that are useful with the IHV kit.

Along with the files that contain the documents is a README file.  This file
contains information on how to print the documents.

Software Notes and Recommendations.
----------------------------------
PTF633 consists of 4 floppy diskettes.  The 4 floppies together comprise the
entire set of IHV kit documentation.

To install the software on your machine, you must be logged in as root. 
Insert floppy number 1 (1 of 4) into drive 0 (the first 3.5 inch diskette
drive) and type in the following command:

     # pkgadd -d diskette1

You may then proceed by following the directions stated by the pkgadd 
command.

When the package installation is complete, all files will be installed 
in the directory /usr/IHVKIT_DOCS.

PTF633 is targeted for the i386 and i486 CPU's.

Troubleshooting.
---------------
PTF633 may fail to install for one of many reasons.  Follow the diagnostics 
on the monitor when the package is being loaded.  Of prime importance is disk
space.  Be sure that you have about 12 meg of free disk space before loading
PTF633.
