This update replaces /usr/X/bin/xterm with a version that supports Tektronix emulation. The Tektronix emulation is enabled by specifying a -t option. SYMPTOM Previous version of xterm(1X) did not support the -t option SOLUTION Apply the ptf617 file. Installation Instructions: DATATYPE: datastream 1. Download the ptf617.Z and ptf617.txt files to the /tmp directory on your machine. 2. Read the release notes contained in this file. 3. Now become root, uncompress the file and add the package to your system using the following commands: $ su # uncompress /tmp/ptf617.Z # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf617 ptf617 Solution Specifics General Description ------------------- These release notes acquaint you with the contents of the UnixWare PTF617 patch for UnixWare 1.1.
