Installation Instructions:  

DATATYPE: datastream

1.  Download the ptf257 and ptf257.txt files to the /tmp directory  
    on your machine.

2.  Read the release notes contained in this file and follow the 
    instuctions to add the package to your system.

3.  Now become root, and add the package to your system using the following 
    commands:

        $ su
        # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf257

Some Motif applications that create text objects grow in size
as seen in 'ps -l'.

General Description.
-------------------

These release notes acquaint you with the information for UnixWare
PTF257 - "libXm update to fix memory leak problems on systems running UW1.1".
This update consists of a single 3.5 inch floppy diskette.

The new Motif libraries will correct the memory leaks noticed in some 
motif clients running on UW1.1 systems.

PTF257 will update the following files:
	/usr/X/lib/libXm.a
and	/usr/X/lib/libXm.so.1.2
