ABSTRACT:

This file contains PTF177 - Fix for curses library to take care 
of xmc entry in terminfo file. This package has libcurses.a in 
pkgadd format. This ptf is meant for UnixWare version 1.1 or 1.1.1 
or 1.1.2. This library is tested on wy150 terminal with xmc#1 
in terminfo database. It is not tested on wy50 terminal. 


SYMPTOM

libcurses.a has incorrect xmc entry in terminfo file.

SOLUTION

Apply the ptf177 file.


Installation Instructions:

DATATYPE: datastream

1.  Download the ptf177.Z and the ptf177.txt files to the /tmp directory
    on your machine.

2.  Read the release notes contained in this file and following the       
    instuctions to add the packages to your system.

3.  Now become root, uncompress the file and add the package to your 
    system using the following commands:

        $ su
        # uncompress /tmp/ptf177.Z
        # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf177 ptf177
