This package has the X server with SCO& ISC Connectivity enabled. Apply this ptf to a system with update 1.1.1 version 1.0 and it will provide functional equivalent of update 1.1.1 version 1.1. If you have applied update 1.1.1 to your system and are not sure which version you have type: pkginfo -l update111 to get a detailed listing. SYMPTOM The original release of update 1.1.1 ( v1.0 ) caused problems with X server connectivity. This was later corrected by update 1.1.1 v1.1. For customers who applied the original 1.0 version, this PTF will correct these problems thus eliminating the need to download and apply the newer version of the update. SOLUTION Apply the ptf155 file. Installation Instructions: DATATYPE: datastream 1. Download the ptf155.Z and ptf155.txt files to the /tmp directory on your machine. 2. Read the release notes contained in this file. 3. Now become root, uncompress the file and add the package to your system using the following commands: $ su # uncompress /tmp/ptf155.Z # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf155 ptf155 Solution Specifics 1. If there are any problems with X server, pkgrm ptf155 as root shold brings the system back to the state in whish system was before ptf got installed. If the pkgrm does not work properly, then the X server can be copied from /var/sadm/pkg/ptf155/save/usr/X/bin to /usr/X/bin and the direcory /var/sadm/pkg/ptf155 can be removed. 4.
