ABSTRACT:

PTF154 - Enhanced ne3200 drivers to fix telnet and ArcServ problems. This
package has a driver for the ne3200 and related files in pkgadd format.  
This ptf is meant for UnixWare version 1.1 or 1.1.1 or 1.1.2

SYMPTOM

When using ne3200 with standard drivers, user experiences problems
(connections lost) with ARCServ, telnet, and NetWare connectivity.

SOLUTION

Apply the ptf154 file.

Installation Instructions:

DATATYPE: datastream

1.  Download the ptf154.Z and ptf154.txt files to the /tmp directory  
    on your machine.

2.  Read the release notes contained in the ptf154.txt file.

3.  Now become root, uncompress the file and add the package to your 
    system using the following commands:

     $ su
     # uncompress /tmp/ptf154.Z
     # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf154 ptf154

General Description

These release notes acquaint you with the contents of UnixWare 
PTF154 - Enhanced ne3200 driver to fix telnet and ArcServ problems.  
This package has drivers for the ne3200 and related files in pkgadd format.

Software Notes and Recommendations

This ptf is meant for UnixWare version 1.1 or 1.1.1 or 1.1.2. This patch
modifies the same files as ptf135 and update 1.1.2

The driver is rewritten to fix the problems.  Problems were reported with
ARCServ, telnet and NetWare connectivity (connections lost). The package 
must be removed using the command pkgrm as root.
