ABSTRACT:

The ptf146 file contains Windowing Korn Shell for the OSF/motif GUI
Release 1.1. This update corrects the bugs contained in wksh package for
UnixWare 1.1.  This package also Programmers Guide in postscript format.  
The postscript file (WkshPGuide.ps) will be put under /usr/X/lib/wksh.

SOLUTION

Apply the ptf146 file.


Installation Instructions:

DATATYPE: datastream

1.  Download the ptf146 and the ptf146.txt files to the /tmp directory
    on your machine.

2.  Read the release notes contained in this file.             

3.  Now become root, and add the package to your system using the following
    commands:

     $ su
     # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf146 ptf146

Solution Specifics

1. General Description

These release notes acquaint you with the contents of UnixWare 
PTF146 - wksh commands fix.

2. New Features

This PTF contains an updated version of wksh commands to correct the bugs
contained in wksh package for UnixWare 1.1.  This package also contains
Windowing Korn Shell for the OSF/motif GUI Release 1.1 Programmers Guide 
in postscript format.  The postscript file (WkshPGuide.ps) will be put under
/usr/X/lib/wksh.

3. Software Notes and Recommendations

PTF146 should be installed on UnixWare 1.1 and preferrably with 
update 1.1.1 already installed.  Please make sure that you already 
have wksh package installed on your system. If you don't, the 
installation will fail.  If you plan to use wksh in Motif mode, please 
make sure that Motif Runtime package is also installed.

NOTE: This package modifies same files as update 1.1.2

4. Installation Instructions

Enter:

     # pkgadd -d diskette1

(replace diskette1 with the appropriate device name) to install the fix.
