ABSTRACT:

The ptf123 file contains fix for memory leak with X server 
while using kanji fonts. This patch is replaced by update 1.1.1

SYMPTOM

Out of memory errors resulted from use of Xserver with kanji fonts

SOLUTION

Apply the ptf123 file.

Installation Instructions:

DATATYPE: datastream

1.  Download the ptf123.Z and ptf123.txt files to the /tmp directory
    on your machine.

2.  Read the release notes contained in this file.          

3.  Now become root, uncompress the file and add the package to your 
    system using the following commands:

     $su
     #uncompress /tmp/ptf123.Z
     #pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf123 ptf123

Issues: There is a memory leak with X server while using large fonts 
such as kanji.
     
Solution:  The memory is properly freed now.

There are no special installation requirements.

NOTE: This patch is replaced by Update 1.1.1 and modifies files also 
contained in ptf113, ptf124, ptf155 and update 1.1.2
