Dear SCO Customer, The enclosed Support Level Supplement (SLS) PTF4034A, the SCO UnixWare confmgr and PCI Supplement, addresses a problem where the addition of second PCI bridge adapter changes PCI bus numbers, resulting in the primary boot controller not being found. Software Notes and Recommendations ---------------------------------- SLS PTF4034A should be installed on: SCO UnixWare Application Server Release 2.1.3 SCO UnixWare Personal Edition Release 2.1.3 Installation Instructions ------------------------- 1. Download the ptf4034a.Z and ptf4034a.txt files to the /tmp directory on your machine. 2. As root, uncompress the file and add the SLS package to your system using these commands. $ su Password: # uncompress /tmp/ptf4034a.Z # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf4034a # rm /tmp/ptf4034a 3. Power the system down, and install the second PCI bridge adapter. 4. Reboot the system. The release notes displayed prior to installation can be found in: /var/sadm/pkg/ptf4034/install/ptf4034.txt Removal Instructions -------------------- 1.
