Dear SCO Customer,

Support Level Supplement (SLS) PTF3394, the D10IPM30 Update of NonStop
Clusters for SCO UnixWare, provides the latest fixes for the D10 release 
of NonStop Clusters for SCO UnixWare. Details of the fixes are included 
in the Software Release Document, ptf3394.doc.

This SLS includes two packages held in a compressed cpio archive:

        D10IPM30 - the update to the NonStop Clusters for UnixWare
        ncu package

        D10I30doc - installs the Software Release Document
        (ptf3394.doc) into /var/sadm/softdocs/D10I30.D10IPM30
        

Software Notes and Recommendations
----------------------------------

SLS PTF3394 should only be installed on: 

        UnixWare 2.1 NonStop Clusters Version D10 running on
        SCO UnixWare Application Server Release 2.1.2 or
        SCO UnixWare Personal Edition Release 2.1.2 with updates
        D10IPM10 (ptf3392) and D10IPM20 (ptf3393) installed.


Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1. Download the ptf3394.Z, ptf3394.txt, ptf3394.doc and ptf3394.pdf
   files to the /tmp directory on your machine.

2. As root, uncompress the ptf3394.Z file using these commands:

        $ su
        Password: <type your root password>
        # uncompress /tmp/ptf3394.Z

3. Create a directory and unpack the cpio archive into it using these 
   commands:

        # mkdir /D10IPM30
        # cd /D10IPM30
        # cpio -icvdBum < /tmp/ptf3394

4. The two packages that comprise D10IPM30 are now available in 
   /D10IPM30. Install the D10IPM30 and D10I30doc packages following 
   the instructions in the release notes, ptf3394.doc and the "jewel 
   case" document, ptf3394.pdf.
