Dear SCO Customer, Support Level Supplement (SLS) PTF3393, the D10IPM20 Update of NonStop Clusters for SCO UnixWare, provides the latest fixes for the D10 release of NonStop Clusters for SCO UnixWare. Details of the fixes are included in the Software Release Document - ptf3393.doc. This SLS includes three packages held in a compressed cpio archive: D10IPM20 - the update to the NonStop Clusters for UnixWare ncu package D10I20doc - installs the Software Release Document (ptf3393.doc) into /var/sadm/softdocs/D10I20.D10IPM20 nscman - NonStop Cluster man pages Also included in this SLS is a tar archive (ptf3393.pdf) of these documents: nunscadmin.pdf - Updated "NonStop Clusters for SCO UnixWare System Administration Guide" nuxcstprep.pdf - Updated "Site Preparation and Hardware Installation" xcerrata.pdf - Additional Notes for the System Administration Guide Software Notes and Recommendations ---------------------------------- SLS PTF3393 should ONLY be installed on: UnixWare 2.1 NonStop Clusters Version D10 running on SCO UnixWare Application Server Release 2.1.2 or SCO UnixWare Personal Edition Release 2.1.2 with update D10IPM10 (ptf3392) installed Installation Instructions ------------------------- 1. Download the ptf3393.Z, ptf3393.txt, ptf3393.doc, and ptf3393.pdf files to the /tmp directory on your machine. 2. As root, uncompress the ptf3393.Z file using these commands: $ su Password: # uncompress /tmp/ptf3393.Z 3. Create a directory and unpack the cpio archive into it using these commands: # mkdir /D10IPM20 # cd /D10IPM20 # cpio -icvdBum < /tmp/ptf3393 4. The three packages that comprise D10IPM20 are now available in /D10IPM20. Install D10IPM20 following the instructions in the release notes, ptf3393.doc. 5. Create a directory and unpack the tar pdf archive into it using these commands: # mkdir /D10IPM20pdfs # cd /D10IPM20pdfs # tar xvf /tmp/ptf3393.pdf 6. The three pdf documents (nunscadmin.pdf, nuxcstprep.pdf, and xcerrata.pdf) are now available to be viewed with a pdf viewer.
