Dear SCO Customer, The enclosed Support Level Supplement (SLS) PTF3239, the PDI/SDI Device Driver Supplement, contains an updated sd01 disk driver which retries certain disk transfers (those which fail with a Queue Full condition) indefinitely, using a progressive backoff algorithm. Also included is an updated sdi driver which corrects a minor locking problem with failing commands. As root, uncompress the file and add the package to your system using these commands: $ su # uncompress /tmp/ptf3239.Z # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf3239 3. Reboot the system after installing this SLS. Removal Instructions --------------------- 1. As root, remove the package using these commands: $ su # pkgrm ptf3239 2. Reboot the system after removing this SLS.
