The enclosed Support Level Supplement (SLS) PTF3203, the CA-Unicenter
Support supplement, installs an updated proc driver which fixes specialized 
support provided uniquely for CA-Unicenter.  On the versions of SCO UnixWare
listed below, the proc driver fails to send notification of process 
termination to CA-Unicenter.  In resolving this problem, PTF3203 allows 
CA-Unicenter to determine when to release or reallocate system resources 
assigned to certain processes.


Software Notes and Recommendations

SLS PTF3203 should only be installed on:

SCO UnixWare Application Server Release 2.1.1, 2.1.2 
SCO UnixWare Personal Edition Release 2.1.1, 2.1.2


Installation Instructions
-------------------------

1. Download the ptf3203.Z and ptf3203.txt files to the /tmp directory
   on your machine.

2. As root, uncompress the file and add the package to your
   system using these commands:

       $ su
       # uncompress /tmp/ptf3203.Z
       # pkgadd -d /tmp/ptf3203

3. Reboot the system after installing this SLS.


Removal Instructions
---------------------

1. As root, remove the package:

       $su
       # pkgrm ptf3203

2. Reboot the system after removing this SLS.
