The ProLinea PCs having the new system boards can be distinguished by the system serial number.

The 4MBs of RAM soldered system board memory is divided as follows: one socket (location U38) for an added 4-MB SIMM, and three more sockets (locations U39 through U41) for adding 48 MB of additional memory in a combination of industry-standard 1 MB, 2 MB, 4 MB, 8 MB, or 16 MB SIMMs.
