DESCRIPTION:  This Softpaq contains Compaq Power Management Agents
              Version 1.41 for use with Compaq UPS and Netware.

              Known Issues Addressed in this release:

              1. When loading UPSBASE.NLM on a Server that was
                 running Netware 5 in multi processor configurations,
                 console lockups would occur.

              2. An exported public symbol, CurrentConfig was also
                 used by Novell's Border Manager. Thus if CPM was
                 loaded, Border Manager would not load and vice versa.
		 This symbol has been renamed CPMCurrentConfig.

              Other Changes:

	      1. The Year is now displayed with 4 digits

           
HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your 
hard drive.  The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable 
with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From the download directory, execute the SoftPaq.  When executed,
it will  build a 1.44MB floppy diskette containing the CPQCPM Agents.

3. To install on a Netware server, type the following at the console
prompt :

LOAD A:CPMSETUP

with the floppy inserted in the A: drive of the server. Follow the
onscreen instructions to install CPQCPM.
