DESCRIPTION: 
Replacing the system board on a Compaq Professional Workstations may result in the message 
"Invalid electronic serial number" during POST.  Current versions of SETUP (1.03 and older)
for Professional Workstations do not correct this condition.  Future versions will allow 
the user to correct this condition.  As an interim solution, the user may boot the diskette 
created from this Softpaq into the A drive to correct this condition.

ENHANCEMENT/FIXES: Added Compaq Professional Workstation AP400/AP500 as supporting products.

HOW TO USE: 

1.  Obtain one formatted 1.44 MB diskettes. 

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that 
directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename based 
on the SoftPaq Number above.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the 
on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to insert the formatted diskette 
in a drive to create the diskette.
IMPORTANT: Only a 1.44 MB diskettes can be used, other types of media
cannot be substituted. 

4.  After the diskette has been created, you may delete the SoftPaq file 
downloaded in step 2.

5.  Refer to README.TXT on the diskette for instructions on using the software.
