The self-extracting executable file contains Compaq Server Support for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 that supports the following subsystems and features of Compaq Servers: ATI RAGE IIC Video Display Controller Compaq Server Support Installation utility Enhancements/Fixes: The release of the Compaq Server Support for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Version 2.10 Revision A, primarily supports the following new products: Compaq ProLiant 800 1/350, Compaq ProLiant 800 1/400, Compaq ProLiant 800 1/450, Compaq ProLiant 3000 6/400, Compaq ProLiant 3000R 6/400, Compaq ProLiant 3000 6/450, Compaq ProLiant 3000R 6/450, Compaq ProLiant 6500 6/450, Compaq Prosignia Server 740, Compaq Prosignia Server 780, Compaq SMART 3200 Array Controller, and Compaq ProLiant Storage System/UE. This release is the first Compaq SSD for Windows NT release to support server-only products. For details, refer to NTREADME.HLP in the created support files. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files. The number of files to be created and total file size is displayed. You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for the files, or default to the download directory. The following files will be created: README.TXT VIDEO.EXE 3. After the files have been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1. 4. From the directory in which the files are created, execute the self-extracting executable: VIDEO.EXE [ENTER] 5. Follow the instructions on the screen to extract (unzip) the support software files to a folder on your hard drive and run the program SETUP.EXE to install the software.
