It is installed on the Diagnostics Partition for those systems which support it and have hard drives. It is shipped as a diskette on all other products. A Compaq Server Diagnostics diskette contains programs that can perform the following tasks on Compaq Systems Division server products: - TEST - INSPECT (display machine config) Enhancements/fixes: - Support for 500 and 550 MHz Pentium III processor upgrades for ProLiant 400 and Prosignia 720. - Support for 550 MHz Pentium III processor upgrades for ProLiant 800, 1600, 1850, 3000, 5500, ProSignia 740. - Added support for testing memory above 4GB address range. - Fixed potential multiple date rollover issue when running Diagnostics overnight. - Enhancements to ProLiant 5000 CPU testing and CPU information display format. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory folder in the download directory. All files are unpacked into this newly created directory. 3. To create the Diagnostics diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT and follow on-screen instructions. 4. After the Diagnostic diskette has been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1, as well as the directory folder and files created in step 2. 5. Power down the system. 6.
