It is installed on the Diagnostics Partition for those systems which support it and have hard drives. It is shipped as a diskette on all other products. A Compaq Server Diagnostics diskette contains programs that can perform the following tasks on Compaq Systems Division server products: - TEST - INSPECT (display machine config) Enhancements/fixes: - Added support for the Pentium II Xeon models of the Compaq ProLiant 6000 and 7000 servers. - Added support for ProLiant 5500, ProLiant 1850R. - Added support for Remote Insight Board/PCI - Added support for Compaq SMART Array 3100ES Controller. - Fixed incorrect network speed reporting issue on some Token Ring controllers. - Fixed CPU ID reporting FFFFh on some systems. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Entering "Y" to confirm the unpacking of files creates a new directory folder in the download directory. All files are unpacked into this newly created directory. 3. To create the Diagnostics diskette, run MAKEDISK.BAT and follow on-screen instructions. 3. After the Diagnostic diskette has been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1, as well as the directory folder and files created in step 2. 4. Power down the system. 5.
