When Windows 95 restarts, it redetects PCI controllers based on the updated information. This update allows Windows 95 to correctly recognize a VIA Tech PCI Bus Master Dual IDE Controller, Intel 82371SB PiiX3/82371AB PiiX4 or 82371EB/PiiX4E PCI Bus Master IDE Controllers. IMPORTANT! This update MUST be run right after Windows 95 is installed and before any other SoftPaqs are applied. During the redetection process, whenever the "Update Device Driver Wizard" and "System Settings Change" dialogs are displayed, accept the default selections. At the end of the installation, when prompted to restart the computer now or later, restart the computer immediately.
