It is designed to augment the functionality of the Compaq Netelligent Management Software Version 2.1 Foundation Module. Refer to SoftPaq SP5837 for the Foundation Module and a description of the features of Compaq Netelligent Management Software. This PMM is a portion of the software available on the Compaq Netelligent Management CD-ROM, Part Number 185743-013. IMPORTANT! For a 2624 Repeater to be compatible with a 2824 Repeater in the same stack, both must be running firmware version 2.0 or later. This firmware is included within this Softpaq. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the files. It unpacks 2 files (requiring an additional 5.1 MB of hard drive space): SETUP.EXE README.TXT You will be given the chance to specify the target directory for the files, or default to the download directory. 3. After the files have been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1. 4. Run SETUP.EXE and follow the on-screen instructions. 5.
