After upgrading all devices with this diskette, insert disk #6 and reboot." -Firmware image for ST12550N drive was removed from diskette #7 due to flashing this drive not being supported on the Fibre Channel Loop. This will cause an error message to appear if the above drive is selected. The error message that will be displayed is "This device must be upgraded using Options ROMPaq diskette #7. After upgrading all devices with this diskette, insert disk #7 and reboot." -Firmware image for the 4/16 TurboDAT Autoloader model CTL96G6-S was removed from diskette #5 due to compatibility problems with the firmware and Arcserve 6.1. This will cause an error message to be displayed if the Autoloader is selected from diskette#5. The error message that will be displayed is "This device must be upgraded using Options ROMPaq diskette #5. After upgrading all devices with this diskette, insert disk #5 and reboot." -If more than 4 types of hard drives are selected at a time from diskettes 6,7 or 8 the user will see an error. The user should reboot and reselect the hard drive that needed to be upgraded before the error message was displayed. Obtain eight (8) formatted 1.44-MB diskettes. 2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to insert the formatted diskettes in a drive to create the diskettes. 4. After the diskettes have been created, you may delete the SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2. 5. The Options ROMPaq diskettes are self-booting diskettes. Place each ROMPaq diskette into your drive A: diskette drive and power cycle your system to begin updating the appropriate components.
