Optionally, a set of 2 installation diskettes can be created. New features for this version include: - Support for Matrox Millennium II and Performance Graphics Controllers Video drivers included in this SoftPaq: Deskpro 2000/4000 Windows 95 Graphics Drivers Ver 1.91 Matrox Millennium, Millennium II, Performance Ver 3.70.007 Matrox Qvision 2000/2000+. Ver 2.01 HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a temporary, empty directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. From the download directory, execute the SoftPaq. When executed with no parameters, files are extracted into the current directory. To extract the files into a different directory, specify the complete path of the directory as a parameter: SPxxxx Enter "Y" to confirm and files are unpacked into the download directory or the directory specified. 3. After the files have been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1. 4. The application may be installed directly from the files on the download directory or a set of two diskettes can be created. To create a set of diskettes, run MAKEDISK.BAT. To install the application from the download directory, select Start, Run. Then type the path to the download directory and the application name (SETUPUDM.EXE). Example: c:\\setupudm Press the Enter key or click OK. To install the application from diskette, put the first diskette created by running MAKEDISK.BAT into the diskette drive. Select Start, Run and type the diskette drive path and the application name (SETUPUDM.EXE). Example: a:\setupudm Press the Enter key or click OK. 5. The Universal Driver Manager detects the current display adapter and checks to see if it is a supported graphics controller. If the currently active graphics controller in the system is not a supported controller (see above list), an error message is displayed. 6. If a supported controller is found, a message is displayed showing which one was found. Select OK to start installing the driver. Follow the on-screen instructions and reboot the system to activate the new driver. 7. After the driver has been installed, you may delete the files from the download directory if you wish.
