When the "PCI RAM" entry is present, it is due to an incomplete MACHINE.INF file that does not fully identify the Intel 82453 Memory Controller. The text file in this SoftPaq explains how to manually edit the MACHINE.INF file so that the Intel memory controller is properly identified. HOW TO USE: 1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is a self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to unpack the text file DETAILS.TXT. You will be given the chance to specify the target directory, or default to the download directory. 3. After the file has been created, you may delete the self-extracting file downloaded in step 1. 4. The instructions for manually editing the MACHINE.INF file are in the file DETAILS.TXT.
