This information can be saved into a text file on a diskette or on a USB flash media device by selecting File/Save to Diskette. This version provides improved support for SATA optical storage devices. - Improves the way Memory Type Range Registers (MTRR) are set when a CPU capable of 38-bit addressing is installed in the workstation. FIXES: - Corrects an issue that prevents proper system shutdown when certain PCI-X cards are installed in the workstation. - Fixes an issue that could lead to occasional false fan failure messages. - Corrects an issue that prevents the workstation from booting from any but the first SATA optical storage drive. This issue can occur only when multiple SATA optical storage drives are installed. PREREQUISITES: None INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: LINUX USERS: After downloading the SoftPaq file, verify that the SoftPaq file has a .tgz extension. If it does not, change it to .tgz. Some browsers automatically rename the file with a .tar extension, which makes the SoftPaq unusable. 1. Download and extract the .TGZ file. For example, to extract the contents, at console prompt type (where ''filename'' is replaced by the name of the file to be extracted): ''tar -xzvf filename.tgz'' 2.
