DESCRIPTION:
This package contains the NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver for the supported 
blade workstation models and Linux operating systems. 

This NVIDIA graphics driver package is provided as a part of the HP Linux Blade 
Workstation Solution. Once installed, this driver configures the system to work 
with HP Remote Graphics Software (RGS) remotely, but will not actually light up 
a physically connected monitor.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 
NOTE: To complete the installation, you must be the ROOT user with no X-server 
running (init 3).

1. Download the SoftPaq .rpm file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. To check for existing NVIDIA packages, at the prompt type: 
'rpm -qa | grep nvidia'

3. Remove any previous NVIDIA package. For example, at the prompt type: 
'rpm -e nvidia'

4. To install the new package, at the prompt type:
'rpm -ivh nvidia-100.14.13-1B.x86_64.rpm'

NOTE: Step 4 places files, builds, and configures the NVIDIA Accelerated 
Graphics Module. It also moves any current X configuration file aside and 
automatically generates a new one that is designed to work on a headless blade 
system.
