This package contains the driver and user interface for the Conexant High-Definition Audio Chip in the supported notebook models and operating systems. WHEN TO INSTALL: - Should the Mute button status not readily change when the notebook is restarted (rebooted) with the Mute status set to "On." - Should an error message pop up when installing this driver over the Operating System "In-Box" driver. - Should you wish to increase the audio output from the speaker when the notebook is rebooted/suspended with the earphone plugged in.

Driver for High Definition Audio," (or later) must be installed on the
notebook before installing this SoftPaq. Look for SP32646 (or later) on the
Software and Driver Downloads section of the www.hp.com website.

HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. When the installation is complete, restart the notebook.
