DESCRIPTION:   This release provides updated system ROM images
for the latest maintenance releases of HP ProLiant ML570 G3 Servers.






New Features -


        HP ProLiant ML570 G3 system ROM P37 (04/28/2006)
        =================================================

		1) Added support to allow booting an USB Drive Key when an unsupported 
		   processor is installed to allow upgrading the System ROM.  
		   The USB Drive Key must be formatted as a floppy device 
		   using the HP Drive Key Boot Utility.
   



Problems Fixed -


        HP ProLiant ML570 G3 system ROM P37 (04/28/2006)
        =================================================

		1) Resolved issue with ROM-Based Memory Diagnostics in which the test would 
		   occasionally hang.  The failure occurred most often with large cache 
		   processors.

		2) Resolved issue where if a processor with a new and unsupported stepping 
		   is installed, the System ROM would not allow booting to a Systems 
		   ROMPAQ Diskette to upgrade the System ROM to support the new processor 
		   stepping.

HOW TO USE:


  1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

  2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on a system running Microsoft Windows 2000, 
Microsoft Windows Server 2003, or Microsoft Windows XP and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP32833.EXE.


  3.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded SoftPaq file:
SPxxxxx [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive 
to create diskette.


  4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file if you wish.

  5.  Insert this diskette into the diskette drive of the system to be updated.
